Officer Robert J. Martin - 2B8 was born in Southeastern Idaho in March 1965. He graduated from Lyman High School in Lyman Wyoming. He has always been interested in Law Enforcement. In March of 2004 he started as a reserve officer with Montpelier Police Department, since then he has been involved in a variety of different training. He has learned much from all of the other officers. He has also taught some of the younger officers a thing or two, one thing is patience. He is the Corporal of the reserve program, at present date there are only two reserves with plans to expand to four. The reserve program has been a good thing for Montpelier, reserves help with traffic control, security during the fair, and other big events in the area. He has a loving wife of 24 years and two daughters 21, and 18. He has enjoyed serving the people of Montpelier and he will continue to serve.
