Evidence Technician April Morphew 2B21 has been with the Montpelier Police Department since February, 2010. She joined the Department to serve as Evidence Technician, and also serves as Desk Clerk. You might see her collecting evidence from reported police activity, as well as providing crime reporting, and entering of court dispositions. She is looking forward to continuing her education in the Crime Scene Investigation field, and has completed the Essentials of Crime Scene Investigation Training Program at the National Forensic Science Technology Center in Largo, Florida.

April has also served as City of Montpelier Deputy Clerk, for 5 years, and had worked for Bear Lake County for 7 years in the Probation Department as a Community Service Attendant for Juveniles, supervising their court appointed community service hours and acting as a mentor. April would be the first one you see at the Montpelier City Police Department, in the Montpelier City Hall, if you have any questions, concerns or complaints she would be glad to help guide you to the correct department.
